How to apply for a daily allowance
What should I do
Register as a jobseeker
Register as an unemployed jobseeker with the Job Market Finland on your first day of unemployment at the latest.
Apply for daily allowance
Fill in the application form on your member’s website no earlier than two weeks, but preferably four weeks after you become unemployed.
Please submit a certificate of your pension insurance and a statement of capital gains form with the attachments.
After the decision
Once you have received a decision on your daily allowance, apply for it in periods of at least four weeks or calendar months. Also keep your job application valid.
