Did you become unemployed? Your next steps
Register (with an employment office)
Register with the Job Market Finland as an unemployed job-seeker on your first day of unemployment at the latest.
Apply for a daily allowance
Fill in the application for daily allowance on the Member Pages at the earliest two weeks, but preferably four weeks, after becoming unemployed.
Please submit the attachments of your application: a certificate of your pension insurance and a sales profit form.
After the decision
Once you have received a decision, apply for daily allowance in periods of at least four weeks. Keep your job search valid.
