Reduced membership fee

You are entitled to apply for the reduced membership fee if your pension insurance income is under € 14,803 or you have stopped making pension insurance contributions all together.

You can also apply for the reduced fee during a period of sick leave exceeding one month, parental leave, child home care, or full-time studies. Apply for the reduced membership fee in writing. We recommend using our eService where you can send attachment and messages securely to the fund.

For unemployed members, the reduced fee is automatically granted while processing the first allowance application.

In 2024 the reduced membership fee is 4 euro per month.
